Which tier is right for you
Free: You want to try BoardSnap on a specific project. You're a student capturing class notes. You run one standing project with a manageable board count. You're evaluating BoardSnap before committing.
Pro monthly: You run multiple client projects, multiple sprints, or multiple teams. You need AI chat to query board history. You're not sure yet how long you'll need it — monthly keeps it flexible.
Pro yearly: BoardSnap is part of your regular workflow. You run workshops, standups, or retros consistently. You want the lowest per-month cost and you know you'll use it for at least six months.
What we don't do on pricing
No free trial that expires and locks your data. No "starts at" pricing that hides the real cost. No enterprise tier with a "contact us" button and a four-week sales process.
Pricing is transparent and managed entirely through Apple's App Store subscription system. Charges go through your Apple ID — the same place you manage every other iPhone subscription. Cancel in Settings, no emails required.
If you hit the free tier limit and decide Pro isn't worth it to you, your existing boards and summaries remain readable. You just can't add new ones above the limit.

What happens to my data if I cancel Pro?
Your boards and projects stay in the app. You lose access to Pro features — AI chat, new boards above 30, new projects beyond 1. Existing summaries and action items remain readable. Nothing is deleted.
Can I switch from monthly to yearly?
Yes. Upgrade through the App Store settings in BoardSnap. Any remaining time on your monthly plan credits toward the annual charge.
Is there a family sharing or team plan?
Not yet. Each subscription is per Apple ID. Team collaboration features — shared projects, multi-user access — are on the Pro roadmap and will be part of a future plan tier.
Is the free tier really free — no credit card required?

Does the 42% savings apply permanently?
Yes, as long as you stay on the annual plan and it isn't discontinued. $69.99/year locks in the annual rate. If pricing changes in the future, existing subscribers are grandfathered until they cancel and resubscribe.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple's App Store refund policy. Request a refund directly through reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple reviews each request — they're generally generous for first-time purchases within the first few days.
