No native Markdown export — but the output copies cleanly as Markdown.

## Current export capabilities

BoardSnap does not have a built-in "Export as Markdown" button or a Markdown file download. Export features that are currently available:

• Copy: Select and copy the summary or action items as plain text
• Share sheet: iOS share sheet lets you send content to other apps directly

## Why plain text copies as Markdown anyway

BoardSnap's output is clean, structured text with no special formatting that breaks Markdown. A summary from BoardSnap:

`` The team agreed on three priorities for Q2: ship the onboarding redesign, hire a senior engineer, and close two enterprise pilots. ``

Pastes into any Markdown editor and is immediately readable. Action items look similar — a labeled list that reads clearly in any tool.

## For Markdown power users

If you want proper Markdown checkbox syntax (- [ ] action item), copy the action items from BoardSnap and do a quick find-replace in your editor. Most Markdown editors (Obsidian, Bear, Typora) let you paste and format in seconds.

## Where this fits in a Markdown workflow

For teams that run their documentation in Obsidian or Notion with Markdown, the workflow is:

1. Snap in BoardSnap
2. Copy summary → paste into today's meeting note in your Markdown vault
3. Copy action items → paste into the task section, format checkboxes

Five minutes or less.

## What's not available

• No .md file download
• No formatted Markdown with headers pre-applied
• No direct integration with Obsidian, Roam, or similar
