No internet? You can still snap. Here's what works.

## The offline / online split

BoardSnap's two main jobs — capture and analysis — have different connectivity requirements.

Capture is fully offline. VisionKit runs on the iPhone's Neural Engine. You can snap a board, have the perspective corrected, and store it in the local queue with zero network access.

Analysis requires a connection. When BoardSnap AI generates your summary and action items, it calls a cloud API. That step needs the internet. The analysis runs automatically as soon as you have connectivity — you don't have to do anything.

• Browse all previously synced boards and summaries

• Read project history

• AI summary and action item generation on new snaps
• Project AI chat
• Brand-aware summary generation
• Syncing edits across devices

## Why the offline queue matters

The queue isn't a footnote — it's a real workflow feature. You're in a meeting with patchy hotel Wi-Fi. You snap three boards. You catch the shuttle. By the time you get back to the office, all three are analyzed and waiting in your project. You didn't have to think about connectivity at all.

## Does the queue expire?

No. Queued boards persist on-device until they sync successfully. A phone restart doesn't clear the queue.

## Airplane mode

Airplane mode with Wi-Fi off is fully supported for capture. Boards queue on-device and flush when you turn connectivity back on.
