BoardSnap does not use your boards, summaries, action items, or any other content to train AI models. AI analysis is processed through contracted third-party APIs (Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI) under agreements that explicitly prohibit using API inputs for model training.

## How BoardSnap's AI actually works
When BoardSnap generates a summary or action items from your whiteboard photo, it calls a third-party AI API (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI). These are contractual API relationships — the same kind enterprise software companies use when they want guarantees about how their data is handled.
Under Anthropic's and OpenAI's standard API data usage policies, inputs sent via the API are not used to train or improve their models. You're not the product; you're the customer paying for API inference.
