BoardSnap and Jira: no native integration, but here's the workflow.

## Why there's no Jira integration yet

BoardSnap has no public API, so third-party integrations — including Jira — cannot be built on top of it today. A native Jira integration would require both a BoardSnap API and a purpose-built connector.

That's on the roadmap, not on the shelf.

## The current workflow: copy-paste bridge

Teams using Jira alongside BoardSnap have settled on a simple pattern:

1. Snap the whiteboard — analysis runs in ~10 seconds
2. Review the action items — fix anything the AI misread
3. Tap Share — export the action item list as plain text
4. Open Jira — paste into a new epic description, a sprint planning session, or individual ticket fields
5. Create tickets manually — select each item and create Jira issues

This takes roughly 1–3 minutes per board, depending on the number of items. For a 10-item action list, it's faster than formatting the same list by hand from scratch.

## Why BoardSnap still saves time even without a Jira integration

The bottleneck in getting whiteboard output into Jira isn't the act of creating tickets — it's the act of reading the board, deciding what's an action, writing it clearly, and organizing it. BoardSnap handles all of that. You arrive at Jira with a structured, organized list and just need to create the tickets.
