## Step-by-step export

1. Open BoardSnap and navigate to the project
2. Select the board whose action items you want to export
3. Tap the Share button (top right of the board view)
4. Choose your format:

- Plain text — works everywhere, clean and portable - Markdown — for Notion, Slack, GitHub, Linear - Summary card — a visual snapshot of the board's output

1. Choose your destination from the iOS share sheet — Slack, Mail, Messages, Notes, Reminders, copy to clipboard, or any installed app that accepts text

## Export format details

Plain text produces a clean list: `` Action Items — Q3 Kickoff [ ] Define target audiences [→] Brief design team [✓] Send project brief to client ``

Markdown produces the same list with markdown syntax — useful for pasting into Notion pages, Slack channels that render markdown, or GitHub issues.

Summary card is a visual image of the board's key output — useful for sharing in chat where a screenshot-style card reads well.

## Exporting just the action items vs. the full summary

You can export the action item list alone, the summary alone, or both together. BoardSnap lets you choose what to include in the export before sending.

## Direct destinations

For the most common destinations:

• Slack: Share → Slack → choose a channel or DM
• Notion: Share → Notion → select a page (or copy and paste)
• Email: Share → Mail → compose with the action items in the body
• Reminders: Share → Reminders → creates a new reminder from the text
• Clipboard: Share → Copy — paste anywhere
